Our reclusive motoring correspondent doesn’t pose for photographs, preferring to be identified solely through his (self-proclaimed) expert-level analysis on cars, clothing, films, and more.

Max has driven around the world, watched every car chase ever committed to celluloid, and can quote all 92 episodes of Starsky & Hutch from memory.
